Very nice find. I have an Island 30 carbine, that I shoot every now and then, but trying to keep it in great shape as these babies are doing nothing but going up in value. I also have a .32 auto from WW1. It is a Vesta, that my Grandfather brought back.

I still have the Rock-Ola carbine, and all the original papers, that my dad bought from the govt. for $20 in 1963. Dad also bought several thousand rounds of LC ammo for $.02 each. Dad is long gone. But the carbine, some of that LC ammo, and some great memories of learning how to shoot my first semi-auto with Dad, are still here.

Don't feel bad Larry, I can't even find a cap gun, let alone a real gun....

Now tell us the original wood stock has been replaced by a wire stock which folds an scrapes the forward wood!:kidding:

Does it have a little button sticking up on through the left side of the stock next to the receiver right at the bolt lugs? If so I don't wanna hear about it!;-)

Last Friday I was helping clean out an abandoned building so we could bulldoze it down. I to made a wonderful find. That beautiful English Ivy vine growing over the doorway, was really Poison Ivy. The leaves aren't even out and I've got a good dose of PI!

By the way, there were no guns, no gun accessories, and no ammunition in the building.

In the mid to late 70's a guy at work needed $80.00 to move so he offered me a gun he had. I went over there and the gun turned out to be a Rock Ola. Needless to say he got his $80.00
