I want to buy a case gauge to determine if my full length sizing die is set up correctly to properly adjust the shoulders etc on my spent 7.62x39 cases. I can't find any for this caliber. I have the Dillon kind for 223 where I drop a case into the cylindrical gauge to make sure it is sized properly.

Do you guys just run through a full length resizing die and reload from there?

The only time I find it necessary for a case gauge is when I'm converting 1 case into another, A.K.A. case forming. I've had to make my own for the conversions I do in the older case cals. But if I'm starting with a case that's already been formed and I use the case, I just make sure I don't size the shoulder, or bump the shoulder so the gauge dimension gets shorter.

And all I do is run them rough the full length sizer and they're fine.

How do you know if you size or bump the shoulder?

Gary,

I have seen the L.E. Wilson case gauge for 7.62x39 before, but it was always out of stock when I checked....that is, until you posted that link. I just ordered one. Thanks!
