Was given this today. Can't find the good stuff, so there are a few grains left in these so....what the heck. These cans probably predate me. It's been dry and cool, so it should be fine.

I just emptied a can of herco that is the same as the metal can of 2400 you have.
I poured the contents into a 'newer' 8 pound 3 piece cardboard container so I could start on it.

the 4895 ain't so old,, it has the weight in metric too.

Didn't look that close. It does have weight in grams, so not quite that old. Has a price tag of 10.96 on the back. Wish I could find it for that now!!!
