Have any of you used it? Is it a worthwhile addition to the star sizer?

I have it. Used it. Then bought the bullet feeder unit and the spring became useless as the bullet feeder unit will not allow the handle to remain in the upright position.

Bummer. I have the feeder...as well as the air feed and heater. I thought it may help either way.

Have it and in less than a year the spring broke.

I like em a lot, made them myself on all my lubers.

Made my own, for free. Had a lot of springs around. It works great.

Too easy to do it yourself. Two cotter pins and a spring. Total hardware cost, maybe three bucks at most. Results: priceless. (sorry, couldn't resist)

Where do the cotter pins fit to anchor the spring?

The Star must have hollow, roll-pins. The cotter pins go through the hole in the pins.

I wound a light coil spring around one of the shafts that the unit rides on. It gives no problems and works great
