So I'm running a little low on my preferred cast boolit powder, 2400. I'm down to about a pound and a half. I've got lots of other suitable powders on the bench, I just haven't tried them because the 2400 is like beer and pizza - perfect combination. So I'm experimenting with Unique, Blue Dot, N133, Rx7, Accurate #9, Accurate 1680, 4227, etc. My go-to load in this .260 Rem is 15 gr. of 2400. So here are the specs
Rifle - .260 Rem Ruger M77 Mk II - 1-8" twist
Scope - Leupold VXII
Brass - Remington
Primer - Remington 9 1/2
Boolit - NEI .264-130-GC, Lyman #2, .266"
Lube - Lotak Hard
Gas check - Hornady

.260 Rem 1 Unique 11 264-130GC <1/2"
.260 Rem 2 Unique 12 264-130GC <1/2"
.260 Rem 3 N133 20 264-130GC 2" - flyer 4"
.260 Rem 4 N133 21 264-130GC 1" - flyer 2.5"
.260 Rem 5 RL7 21 264-130GC 1" - flyer 2.5"
.260 Rem 6 RL7 22 264-130GC 2 1" apart and a flyer 8" away

I suspect that the 11 gr. Unique load suffered from me having just cleaned the barrel. I was close to 200 rounds without cleaning and still had sub-MOA precision at 100 yds. But I cleaned it for the sake of trying different loads.

Best result here - and same POA and POI as my 15 gr. 2400 load.

I wish I knew what was up with the flyers out of this rifle - maybe the gascheck going below the neck? I still have some Blue Dot loads to shoot tomorrow and will load up others with Accurate #9, Accurate 1680, and 4227
