has had a bad turn of it
he is a 4 year old yellow lab and has been fighting bloat for quite some time now
we had never had stomach torsion so we are lucky that way
he just wasn't himself so we took him in and after emergency room x-rays we were left with more questions than answers
brought him home and my wife ended up taking him back in a couple of hours
the next morning he went in for surgery seems his colon had turned 180°
this is very rare and only a 3% survive the surgery its normal to bring in the owners to say their last words to their beloved pet
however we have beat the odds and our boy has survived and seems to be recovering as well as can be expected after a major surgery
I pray for all of the pet owners who like me had to bring in their pets for emergency needs
we saw alot of tears today by ourselves and by others who were not so lucky
