Another lee enfield single shot

Anybody else have one of these, 45-70 32" 1.125 " barrel. does anyone recognize the rear sight , I bought the sight at a gun show but there is absolutely no markings on it. The base is just something I made from scrap but I'm curious who makes the sight.101140101142101143

I get the old "Invalid attachment" message when I try to look. Sounds like you've got a real cast bullet launcher though.

That is one really massive rear sight. Never saw anything that big before. The aluminum mounting block seems to use the Paramount type system of using small grooves on the block that mate up with corresponding ridges on the sight itself. I have an old Paramount rear sight I bought years ago which has the mounting adaptor. Very rugged mounting system. Nice rifle by the way. Frank
