I am starting to do more PC bullets then greased bullets. Does anyone know. Can the RCBS Lube Sizer be made to act as a push through sizer.
Since I wouldn't need the bullets to be pushed back up out of the die. couldn't I just take the rod out of the center of the die. Unscrew the lower assembly that pushes up on the rod. Thereby making it a push through sizer. Kevin

I don't follow the PC thing , but don't you size the bullets before PC ?? IF a standard size H&I die will work, take the push out rod and get an extended top punch to fit your L/S that fits your bullets base's profile, shouldn't be any problems unless your bullets require a lot of force to size. Then, if you plan to do a lot of sizing, just get some stronger bolts that are used to attach the handle to the Op. rods. OR get a push through sizer and use your reloading press

Question of the day?

Are we sizing only and lubing in a seperate step?
Or are we sizing and lubing like the Star lubrisizers in one step?

I think he wants to set it up to size only, so he can size his powder coated boolits.

I've done it on a Lyman 450 but never tried on a RCBS rig. If sizing's all your worried about, get the Perfessor to make you an adapter rig for regular sizer dies that can be used on a single stage press. Works like a Lee size through die but uses your sizer dies from either a Lyman or RCBS sizer./beagle
