The below is a pic of part of an alarm bell. 6" in diameter, 1.75" deep, carbon steel, 3/32" thick. I have been changing out defective ones for 27+ years and throwing them away. This past week, like a voice crying in the wilderness, it hit me...."that would make a decent high volume ladle, or clip skimmer!" It will hold 20 ounces(volume) of water, level to the pour spout. So a 9.5 pound lead ingot, at a 12 ounce volume pour would be nooo problem! ;)

There is a 3/8" hole in the center which can be filled with a weld, or bolt(pic), or incorporate it into the handle design.

If any of you want one for the cost of shipping, I figure it weighs about 1.5 pounds, I'll start a list. First come , first served. We change them out sporadically, as needed, so availability will be random. I will burn the paint off, bead blast it for you, and if you want a pour spout, I'll cherry it up and bend you one(pic).

I don't want to be greedy but I'd like two if there are not a lot of others here that want them, when and if they are available. The pour spout is a nice touch if it isn't a hassle. I'll send a bit extra to buy you a new beverage. That can must be empty by now.
Thanks for offering them. Let me know,

All replies are duly noted. I'm going to take the bowl to the local Post Office tomorrow, and see what the best(cheapest) shipping options are. Went to high school with the Postmaster there, puurdy lil ol thang she is! ;)

I don't do paypal, sorry. As said in my o/p, it will take a little time to get these bowls out, availabilty issue. When your # comes up, I will PM each of you and ask if you still want it, then get your address if you do.

Fair enough?

Wishing all of you a Happy, Healthy , Prosperous New Year.

I have one that I bolted (with a rubber gromet) to an iron fence post. Great target for the air gun.
