This is a shot in the dark but hoping some of the old timers know what I'm talking about. I was going through some of my dads old reloading gear and ran across this Unitized loader which is like the one Lee still makes, believe they call it a Classic Hand Loader. You use a plastic mallet as your press. Anyway back to my question, the one I have full length resizes and in the directions you drive the casing into the sizer with your mallet. Should the casing drive all the way into the sizer until its flush. I've hit the casing pretty hard and it'll only go so far, sticks out about an 1/8". Just wondering if this is normal, I'm doing something wrong or something wrong with the sizer.
Thanks in advance

What caliber is on the die, and what exactly reads on the head stamp of your shell case?

i.e., you may be trying to drive a 357 into a 38spl die, or a 44 mag into a 44 spl.

Easy mistake:-)

Any sizing lube on the case?

Got it figured out guys, cleaned the inside of the sizer with a round brush and that helped a ton. Thanks for the responses..
