So I have both sets of powder measures and I can usually find a load close enough to what I want so I don't have to set up the RCBS measure. I was loading a 160 gr. cast bullet for the 7.62X54R and looking for about 13 grains of red dot. 1.9 measure gives me 13.5 so I am good. I grabbed the 190 Red measure. Gee these scoops sure look big. After about 13 cases of the 100 I was going to load, I double checked my data. Wow! 1.9 yellow does put out 13.5 grains of red dot but 190 Red puts 22 grains! Dumped them all out and started over again. I am 53 now and I will continue to double check all of my operations like I have been doing. My eyes are aging and I have 1.0 readers everywhere but I really need 2.0 to read the period that was between the 1.9 on the measure chart. Here is to all of us here on a uneventful 2014!

Thanks for the warning. This will add to my checking each time I use one of those measures
