I love the m1 carbine, and I love the Uzi carbine. Looks like they had a child together. Should be pretty good, but I don't know much about the manufacturer.

blow-back action too super easy with cast....
I have been looking for a nice 9m type gun for a while now.
a 30 round magazine you say?
does anybody make a 75 or 100 round drum?

I like, but haven't seen one in person. I wonder if there's any chance of one taking Glock mags.

I like, but haven't seen one in person. I wonder if there's any chance of one taking Glock mags. If it takes Beretta magazines, it likely won't take glock magazines, but Beretta magazines have been made for the U.S. and Italian militaries for a long number of years, so there's lots of surplus USGI Beretta 92 magazines and the factory mags comes in capacities up to 30 rounds as well as lots of after market magazines. So lots of magazine options.

The negative aspect of this rifle is the .22 caliber versions of these rifles have received mixed reviews online, have lots of plastic parts, including the bayonet lug. Since that particular assembly can affect accuracy, this is a concern.

This should have been done a long time ago. I'll be looking for this for sure. A buddy has a Hi-Point and it works good, but I'd much rather have this type of weapon in 9MM.

Interesting, the rear sight has printing on it that shows it's imported by a different company. ;>)

Anyone know where they're imported from?

I think I'll pass, nothing against plastic when parts are engineered for plastic but these idiots just take whatever steel parts they don't want to spend any money on and have them molded 1:1 in plastic like they are making airsoft guns or stage props or something. At least companies like hipoint make the best out of using rubbish materials through competent engineering and "get what you pay for" pricing.

IMHO if you want an M1 buy an M1, if you want a 9mm look around for an affordable Ruger PC9 or camp 9 or else build a nice AR.

Seems pretty cool to me. I've had a few LSI products in my hands. It is true you get what you pay for, but if you can't afford the M-1 then why not get something that you will enjoy shooting and looking at. I love these remakes they do and the price is far from unreasonable. I'd take a look for a better price on Gallery of Guns though. Davidson's is a distributor.
