I have a sheet of lead that weights about 30 pounds. I guess it is nearly pure lead. I can bend it easily. To get it useable for medium velocity .357 boolits, what and how much do I need to add when I melt it down. Please keep it simple.
thanks

For mid range 357 loads simply make it a 20-1 alloy (20 parts lead to 1 part tin). If you want magnum level loads simply add a bit more tin and make it 16- 1 alloy.

If you have wheel weights available simply make up a 50/50 alloy of your sheet lead and WW. It will fill the needs you ask about.Robert
