I'm looking at a couple of different Lee molds and I'd like to hear what you think. It'll be for a Kahr CW380.

Lee 356-102-1R (2 bullet mold) I'd probably get this one if it came in a 6 bullet mold but it doesn't. 2 boolits at a time seems slow.

Lee 356-95-RF (6 bullet mold) I'm not sure about the round flat nose of the bullet.

Lee 356-120-TC (6 bullet mold) I have this mold already for my 9mm but not sure about the heavier weight (120).

Which would you use and why?

Nathan,
I got the famed Ranch Dog mold before he closed up shop. I'm hearing that Lee does make that mold now (actually, Lee made the RanchDog molds for him) under a different name. If I had to take a guess, it would be the 356-95RF. If you could post a pic, others here also could tell you if that's the winner. Mike

Here's the link since I don't know how to post a pic of this.

Here's the 356-102 http://www.midwayusa.com/product/550977/lee-2-cavity-bullet-mold-356-102-1r-9mm-luger-38-super-380-acp-356-diameter-102-grain-1-ogive-radius?cm_vc=ProductFinding

This 1 works :http://www.midwayusa.com/product/550977/lee-2-cavity-bullet-mold-356-102-1r-9mm-luger-38-super-380-acp-356-diameter-102-grain-1-ogive-radius?cm_vc=ProductFinding

I want this 1: http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product_info.php?cPath=34&products_id=328&osCsid=pfhqifo973qg0norm1vlc3id02

My wifes BERSA insists on runnin the finished rounds thru the factory crimp die , it takes the boolit down to .3565" which it is happy with & 3gr. of HP-38.

As ya said the Lee is a 2 holer ,but it`s the new block design & after it all comes to temp I lower the alloy temp & cast as fast as I can & can accumilate a nice little pile of silver nuggets in short order!
Thought of buying another & alternate molds ,but I can keep momma happy with this 1 at the moment.
If she starts burning more powder I`ll get the NOE 356242.

Get the 356-95--it's the RD mold and it is outstanding!
I have the original RD mold and it works well in three of my 4 380's--the 1924 CZ hates everything, but the Beretta, Walther and Colt all shoot it just fine. I have a Lyman 358-242 90 grain which also works pretty well but it is only a 2 cavity. The Lee is a six cavity.
if it works as well as the Ranch Dog, it will be a Dandy.

I must agree with Glen here. The 356-95 looks just like the Ranch Dog mold. A good one for sure. Mike

Another vote for the .356-95. A darn fine boolit in .380 or 9mm!!

I have the Ranch Dog .356 90gr 6 cavity. It is one of my favorite moulds. I run them through a sizer and tumble lube with straight up Lee alox. My wife's little Sig 238 is a blast to shoot with that 90 grain bullet and a medium charge.

If you were to send me a SFRB, 10 or so pounds of your favorite lead/mix(or how much would fit in a SFR), and enough for return shipping, I would be more than happy to cast you some up. I don't have any time to do any sizing or sorting for you, but It doesnt take that long to empty half of a twenty pound pot with that Ranch dog.
