Thank you for posting this! Someday I hope to be able to attend that match. At least we get to read about it here on the 'net. That was some impressive good shooting! Do you know if there is an equipment list available? It would be interesting to see what everybody is shooting.

I read through the match report I received from Rick Weber, that match's director, and the predominant rifle used is the Pedersoli Gibbs. The new Ferris rifles being made by Lee Shaver are doing exceptionally well also and were in the winners circle.

If you can make the opportunity to go to one of the Oak Ridge match's you will have a great time and get to meet some very fine people with an exceptional amount of knowledge about the long range muzzle loading guns. It is well worth the investment in time and money for the trip.
