This whole winter has sucked for most of us. Only 4 or 5 more months till summer.

Just got back from the range from picking up brass and berm bullets, and that wind is down right cold. Just not right for the end of March. This summer can't come fast enough.

I had a couple friends who came from Bahston Massa-toosits & an ex-boss from Maine so I picked up a bit of the lingo. and I spent about a week in Nyoo Yawhk in the late 70's when my brother & his buddy got out of the army.

I work at a school.. We're the facilities folks. We have to do all the snow removal. So...the administrators are justifiably paranoid about someone slipping/flalling. We have gone through an incredible amount of salt this year. It's really a shame. It's this kind of winter that makes me think about retiring.... Mike

I have 150+ lbs of sand that I raked from my parking in front on my home. The city came by yesterday morning and sanded. I guess we really needed it with the 1/4" of snow that fell.

it's gettin' even crazier. got up this a.m. to a couple more inches of crunchy "wintry mix" with about 20 or 30 mph winds.

Definitely the never ending winter. Still 40+ inches of snow on the ground. Had to put an extension on the ice auger to fish that means over 36" of ice on the ponds. 50 plus mile-a-hour winds today with another storm bearing down on us. I know i'm ready for spring

I just decided that the wife and I are not gonna color any Easter eggs this year, good luck to the little ones finding any in the snow........

Still 30 inches of snow on the ground at home. They have had a hard winter. Maple syrup is going to take a beating this year

It snowed here as well, the plows came out to take the dusting off the road so it didn't melt when it rained an hour later. Well in their defense a lot of em depend on plowing and the last couple years didn't really give em much snow so they are a little trigger happy now

I could have worn shorts today. The weather was pretty nice. We had a 5.1 earthquake tonight, but we don't even think about doing anything until it gets over a 6.0-6.5, so that is normal "weather" for us. I don't know what that white stuff is that you guys talk about, but we could use some more rain. Next Wednesday we are supposed to get 0.08 inches of rain. We have a ways to go if we are going to meet our average of something like 18" per year.

We would kill for a good, deep snow, or any form of good soaking moisture. We have been unusually cold and so dry that what small amounts of snow fell evaporated without melting. We have had copious amounts of dust though.

I don't really look at a calendar any more, so is today April Fools Day? If it's not, I am really starting to dislike this weather. Enough with the snow already!!

Under a blizzard watch here for tomorrow night into Tuesday. Have to love Minnesota weather, it was 65 degrees today, I tossed a huge t-bone on the smoker after I cranked it up to 450. Baked potato and an onion with butter in foil too. Poured the onion butter over the steak as a finishing sauce, more butter over the potatoes... good eats. And enough left for a steak sandwich tomorrow.
