I was wondering if anyone has some pet loads for the .358 Winchester using RCBS 35-200-FN and Unique. Can this boolit be shot accurately with Unique up to 1800 fps? I would imagine that heat treated COWW metal would be required.

Well I don't use unique but I use imr3031 and am pushing 1800+ and I use air cooled coww or 50/50 without problems.Im sure someone will be along about the unique.I have read many of goodsteel posts and he knows the 358 quite well

Never shot Unique in the 358. Can't say one way or tother, but it seems like 1800 is asking for alot.

Goodsteel, have you ever tried PP'ing for the .358? I think that will be my next build so I'm starting to lurk the 358 threads.

There's no alloy or group size information; however, one can assume the alloy is number 2 since the load info was obviously plagiarized from Lyman.

Thanks just the same...
