I was looking for a file on my computer, and came across a Midway catalog .PDF file that I had saved in January 2009.

I noticed that their Pure Tin 2 lbs ingot was $15.99 at that time. Just for grins, I went to the Midway site and saw the same ingot for ........ $55.99 !!! Yikes, now that's inflation.

My father worked as a dental labratory technician and left behind some 1 lb rolls of actual Tin Foil. They disolve instantly into the melt. I wish he had left a case of those rolls.

It went up three and half times in 5 years. That's those Government printing presses going non stop.

That's more like it John Boy! 2x increase is much better than 3.5x.
