I would Imagine using a cast from that mold to lap driving band would be easier, of cause you would have to remove lead from all close areas so as not to enlarge everything. do front band first, nose of boolit would be your front guide rear band rear guide. I do believe there is a sticky here about this sort of thing.

There`s a thread where diamond dust was rolled into the bands ,then Leementing the mold .

I`ve used med lappin compound rolled into the bands , slower but more controlable & I was only going for .001 bigger.

Use valve grinding compound and embed it into just the drive bands by rolling the boolit between two steel plates. Use a small file to remove any that embeds anywhere you don't want it. Lap the cavities this way and enlarge only the driving bands. Aluminum moulds are easier than iron, but a thou or two in iron is not hard to do.
