Pewter score!

Bought 8.25lbs of pewter today at an antique shop for $27. Lead keeps getting harder to come by but with the 1000lbs coww ingots ive got i think im set for a while. Spot on tin is $10.50. Keep scrounging.

I bought an Urn yesterday weight 6lbs $12.50. Any way to test for tin?

MaLar, no home brew way to test for tin that I am aware of. If your urn were pewter, it would likely be hallmarked.

friend of mine use to work at a trophy shop and they cast loads of key fobs out of pewter so when I go to the good will I look though the bin of key fobs or some times you can pick up a belt buckle made of pewter the big square ones with company logos on them
