Thanks to all that has helped me last week in getting started. Im on my way to reloading 200 gr and 250 gr cast rnfp. Powder still a great problem even driving 3-4 hours away.
SO, I ofund a mom and pop sporting shop about 25 miles from my house today. I was just plain shocked to see some containers of powder, period!!

She has 3- 1 pond jugs of IMR sr7625, I left them for now. I see there is some reloading on cast bullets using that, mostly cowboy loads, which is ok for me also.
BUT, does anyone have any reload data on possibly reloading for my lever 45LC using this powder and a cast 200 or 250 gr. or both?? Thats all I need, please dont tell me to go out and get UNIQUE or something, there is none. Im talking SR 7625 only.If I cvould possibly get a nice load to use in my lever, 1200 fps or whatever would be fine. ANy suggestions is welcome. Thank you guys for all the help, couldnt have done it without you. Tom
p.s....I will be reloading 22-250 also one of these days, so i though maybe I could get lucky and use this, but all I find is reloading on the 222 swift, was worth a try.

This is what I was reffering to that I have found cowboy load info here, I was hoping someone had specific reloading on this powder for a lever gun that they had tried. Thank you

I would think that the Loads on cast pic for Ruger only will give you the velocity that you are looking for.
http://castpics.net/project2/CastDatalist.php?start=21 They have a 250 cast bullet with 7625 with a listed max velocity of 1242

Slim,

I tried 7625 in my 22-250 with a 225415 lyman boolit. I was using 8-8.5 grains. Barrel had 1-14 twist. Accuracy was good but I did have an occasional flyer. More than I wanted. It was the best of the shotgun powders I tried. I was working on a 222 build at the same time and had real good results with the 222 and 4064 so pretty much gave up on the 22-250 project. Ended up selling the gun before I ever did get it to shoot cast well. Case is big so use a filler when needed.

Sawbuck Slim; Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook third edition has 22/250 and SR 7625 listed with their bullets from 37gr to 54 gr. They also have data for 45 colt with 175-255-250 gr and SR7625 under Ruger and TC only loads. RCBS cast manual has data also for 250 gr in TC Ruger data.

Slim - I sort of substitute SR 7625 for Unique. I call it Unique that meters great. If you look up the powder burn rate charts, you will find that SR 7625 and Unique are quite close in burn rate. I use a lot of it. Mike
