Here goes first thread stated. Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone has made or does make a set of bullet forming dies/ swaging dies to use spent 22cases and make .243/6mm bullet heads? I know there are sets out there for .223 and to be honest I dont like to go with the masses so I have to be different. I shoot alot of 243. Thanks in advance.

Www.rceco.com current lists the tooling to turn 22lr or 22mag brass into jackets. Then you'll just need the bullet swage dies.

Thanks looks like the dies are cheap but the press is not so cheap. Wonder if there is a kind that will work in a rock chucker. LOL

Look in the thread section for swaging, there are quite a number of folks either making their own or selling dies they make for others. I was quite interested in the process several years ago because I wanted to start loading/shooting more 5.56/.223 through my Mini 14 and AR. Then I started casting the Lyman 225-415 and having great results using White Label BAC for lube. Last year, I started powder coating them and having even greater success. I'm even considering getting another mold from one of the vendors here in order to shoot slightly heavier cast boolits. Any, check out the swaging thread and good luck to you

Check it out! I've been having some very good results out of my 6mm BR and 80 grain bullets made from 22mag or 17 hmr brass.

I have RCE in both, you will save money and enjoy using BT Sniper dies and they work in a reloading press, every body here stands by his work.
