Have one of my buds that has a broken extractor. Got the takedown screw to finally back out, broke the rifle down. Two totally smashed and dogged up cases fell out! Guess someone had a jam up, jerked the hadies out of the slide, and broke the extractor.

Better than a Marlin/Glenfield I had to get back into operation for him. Would not feed. Well, I guess having a 22 Mag dropped down a 22 LR tube might do that.

Will have to give them a call in a few weeks when I get back home. Gives me the willies when they list "call" as the price!

FWIW, Wisner's makes their own repro parts, and lists the price as "call" when they are out of stock & between production runs for a particular part.

I would think that, like most busineemen, they would want a backlog of orders for a particular part, before starting a production run.

Little late for an update, but homestead parts had it. Been tied up, and this project got back shelved, so got in touch with them this morning. Very friendly lady on the phone. Knew exactly what I was asking about. It's nice doing business with people who actually know their business. Thanks for the sources to look at.
