I know I first read about them on this forum, but this is the best new invention for me since drop seat underwear. I thought they were expensive until I ordered one--this old man can see the toolhead and dies now. Only ordered one and you can move it to another 550 in seconds. They have my approval of a fine product and well made.

Good stuff. I have one of their strip LED setups on my press.

I definitely need one of those...I haven't aged a day but my prescription seems to have degraded.

Did pretty much the same with a maglight solitaire and an O ring.

The nice thing about the inlinefabrication one is it comes with a 110V setup or you can order it with a battery setup. But my thinking is if you've got it on a press, 110V is the way you want to go in most cases.

Personally, I see a power cord on my bench as a negative. Too many things in motion. I don't even use the case cleaner on the bench. I'm going to have to deal with this if I ever get that 650 with case collator.

The battery in the maglight lasts about as long as the Low Primer buzzer. When I change one, I change the other. For under $5, the price was right.

It's always good to have options though.

The cord has an inline plug and you can remove the power cord when not in use. The back half of my loading bench is just a place to park "stuff" not being used so the supply cord is really not a problem for me. It is very quick to change to the other 550. I thought for the uses I had for the Inline fab light, battery power was not my best choice.

I bought a set-up on Ebay with several LED and taped to the top of my 550B. A vast improvement in seeing the reloading process.

I like the battery option. Great for the range and travel. Reloading out of a rented storage unit with no 110 is great for me.

Take care

I recently bought a LED light strip set up at a gun show and installed it by sticking it to the rear vertical upright of the Dillon Press. It is a 110V device and works pretty well however I think the use of the center hole in the die plate would be better as it wouldn't reflect light towards you.

The extra light shining forward is fatiguing. It does however illuminate the entire work area very well which is it's intended purpose.

I guess you could go either way a get a good result.

I bought the inline for my 550b with the battery option. I really like it and did not really want the power cord on my bench and with the battery option I can still reload if the power fails.

I have a Skylight on my Hornady Lock-N-Load AP progressive. It really helps.
