hey guys,
i have a bunch of range lead from our outdoor range. i sifted through a wire 1/4 inch screen then washed 3 times. there is a little dirt not much and a few small rocks and sticks and leaves that i can't get out. can i smelt and will the rocks float to the top and will the other debris just burn up?? any advice will be greatly appreciated.

In my experience the debris will float to the top. It is better to get all the stuff out before you smelt. The more junk you have to flux out the more you loose antimony.

If you have ANY clay pigeons parts in there get it out. They make a bad mess of the copper and your pot. Plus it gives off bad sulfur smoke and smell.
