Anyone ever use the RCBS 38-150-kt in there marlin 1894C? I use 8 grains of unique and the 38-150-kt all the time in my GP-100. I know the marlin is good with the 358156 GC bullet but am wondering about the pb ones?

Has anyone used the 38-150-kt on deer either in a revolver or levergun?

Thanks
Bill

I've not had very good luck with this bullet in my 94C. The best plain based bullet I've found is the 358429 crimped on the front drive band. Maybe the Marlin need more bearing surface than the RCBS 150 has. Anyway the 358156 outshoots them all in my rifle. I need to try one of those Group Buy 180's or Ranch Dog's new 190 gr. bullet though.
