Can anyone tell me what years these were made, and what year was it discontinued?
I have a chance to buy one at a good price.
Thanks

I cant tell you anything specific about that model, however, my Kimber 82G and Kimber 84 are both shooters.

The 82G is a match grade 22 target rifle produced in the 80's for the military. CMP has since sold out and it is worth every penny of the 400 or 600 I paid for it. Some say it isnt as good as the 40X, but I couldnt tell a difference with match grade ammo to 100 yards.

My M84 is a 22-250 Varmint and is a tack driver. Sub MOA out to 200 yards on paper. I'm sure I could stretch it out, just havent had the chance except at bottles and what not. It is sub MOA of 2L bottle to 400 yards.

My google fu puts it around the $650-850 range.

I say you should snatch it up. It looks like an awesome squirrel machine. I love high quality 22's.

So I got the kimber rifle. Traded an old Bennelli nova and $100 for it.
Now I just need rings and the right optic for it.

Let us know how you like it. I'd also give Kimber a call and see what they can offer you as far as information and parts.
