Observation from the last month of my buying binge,

I realized after going through the powder inventory and what I need, etc, and what I recently bought made me think, "I need some Bullseye and some Red Dot"
None of theses powders have been available, yet a lot of extruded rifle powder has.
So I am thinking that maybe ball powder will be coming next?

My opinion is most of the handgun powders are in short supply because the bigger companies are buying most of it to make handgun ammo. Take a look around at a lot of the bigger stores and notice there is much more handgun ammo on the shelves than we used to see.
At a local gun show yesterday I seen several 8 pound jugs of Red Dot for sale. Asking price was $180 and no one seemed interested in them. Almost went back and bought one myself but decided to wait for some VV320 or Unique. Did not see any Unique or Bulleyes for sale.

I would have paid 180 for the 8# of red dot I wont get it cheaper than that in Reno unless its a person to person and he kindly does not mark it up from shipping

OP FYI Promo is the same as red dot. You can get it locally for $90-$100ish for 8# if you are lucky. I bought an 8#er last week from Nachez and it cost me $150ish to my door after $26 for shipping and $27ish for Hazmat.

Check Gunbot.net. Alliant promo comes up at least once a week in 8# kegs at good prices. At least it has recently.

oh no, I have gunbot bookmarked its the scourge of me, I cant go on it like today I am trying to avoid it haha looks like UPS has not made it to the stores yet LOL and I do need to sell more stuff hhaha
