Kids triathalon

Kiera took part for the first time in the "Weetbix Tryathalon" today. 100m swin (water was 15C/60F), 4.5km bike ride and 1,5km run. She blitzed it. We waited for her to come by after the swim but she had already been through. Likewise at the bike. Got her in the home straight of the run! Fast kid.

We were so proud. Kiera is not super sporty and for her to take part was huge. And more importantly SHE was rapt with her efforts. Thousands of kids and parents. Great event and a most generous sponsor.

I learned how to swim in farm ponds and strip pits, so I am doing good if I can swim 10 meters let alone 100.
