44 magnum twist rate

What twist rate for 44 magnum carbine 1:30 or 1:38?

You would need to know what Model and age to better answer the question. I have lever actions, semi-auto and bolt-action 44 carbines...not all the same... The two bolts(Ruger 77's have different twists (apparently the change was to improve performance... I haven't had time to tell yet)

Looking to buy a 44 Mag, one is a 1:30 Ruger 77/44. The other a Marlin 1894 if one can be found, it has a 1:38 twist.

Which would be best for cast at 240 grain plus bullets?
