Interesting throwback.
Can be made from .400 stock. Two radii off of the .299 hole, .492r to the front, and 1.301r to the back, with the gradations (both radii do not include the undercut). Dovetail is sneaky, as it is actually a rhombus (?), the left side is 1.025, the right side is 1.034. So that means start the base on the RIGHT side, and tap it LEFT into the dovetail slot.
