I can get my hands on 50 lb of 70% lead 30% tin and was wondering what its worth per pound

Dollar and a quarter a pound, if it really is 30% tin. Buy all you can get. Lead and tin are a better investment than silver and gold.

Just make sure you get a source of pure lead or wheel weights to go with it! A bunch!
Thats way too much tin for a boolit alloy, or at least way more than needed. Thats like a 2.5:1 alloy, when 20:1 or even 30:1 are more normal.
Is this some sort of solder? My guess is that the seller is asking a lot more than $1.25/lb. If thats in the ballpark, however, you should probably jump on it. Pure tin is about $10/lb on the trade market. Lead is still around a dollar

If you value the Tin a $10 per pound and the Lead at $1 per pound then the 70/30 is worth $3.70 a pound.
