I copied this post from one I made down in the humor section. Sunday dinner is a big deal in my house. Hell, dinner in any day ending in "y" is a big deal in my house. Nobody ever left my home hungry unless they chose to.

That's a 9 lb Prime grade sirloin tip I roasted Sunday. I made homemade dinners rolls, mashed potatoes and broccoli with a cheese sauce to go with it. The gravy had beef infused portabellas.
For dessert we had the apple cobbler with french vanilla ice cream (breyers).

You made that great meal and then used Breyers instead of homemade ice cream?
Shame on you.:kidding:

Other than that it looks very good.

Bryers is the company that started the "reduction" in container size the consumer gets at the mauufacture level. Witch almost all others did after that! I quit buying them when I realized what was gong on!

Browned a chuck roast with a simple salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder rub, added a cup of water and put the dutch oven in a 300 degree oven for 3 hours, when the roast was almost done I added carrots and potatoes to roast with the meat for another hour or so. Poured off the juices for some gravy and dug in. One of my favorite meals.
