Last month I ordered some 50-caliber gas checks from Blammer for my CZ 505 Gibbs.
I had been using Hornady, but figured to support the folks here.

These check are great!! 20% less than Hornady, and a much better fit on the NEI mould I have. The H-brand are .0015" smaller ID, so I had fun seating them. Blammer's are a nice snap fit. They are also .025" taller, for (IMHO) a better seal and scraping area. Part of the issue could be my WW +1% tin alloy, but these just glide down my LAM II and crimp nicely. I am one happy camper. I'll be switching to Blammer Brand as my supplies run out.

Gotta agree with Rich. Grat product and excellent service from Blammer. After seeing 44 and 45 Lyman checks sitting on a local dealer's shelf priced at 65 bux a box last week. It will be a cold day in hell before I buy gas checks from anybody other than Blammer.

Blammer, (Darrell) and I made a good swap this last week. He had some pulled 8mm
bullets that I wanted, and I had a set of RCBS 308 Winchester dies, that he wanted.
The swap went very well, with good communication, fast shipping on both ends, and

Just wanted to say I picked up my Turk Mauser last week that I got from Blammer....nice.
I have dealt with him previously ( not through this forum) and have always been impressed at the quality of the sold arms...always better then I have expected. This turk was no exception. It was clean & the only work I did on it was to fresh up the muzzle crown last night. Then took some quick chamber & throat measurements. I had some 166gr Lyman boolits here at the proper size so made up a load of those with 30.3 gr Reloader 7 ( that is what my lee dipper threw consistently, so Figured it was good enough for a try.
I only had a handful of FL sized 8mm brass ( the rest already fireformed to my Sauer 98K chamber) Went to the range this morning and set the ramp sight to it's lowest point ( 100 meters ) Was shooting at 50 yd from a bench. With my bad vision, I really struggled to get a sight picture but when I did.... I tried to keep it constant. I shot nine rounds into this target. First time I fired it ( & who knows when it was fired before that)Now to start load development !
