I made a large pot of homemade chicken noodle soup yesterday and was enjoying a bowl while looking at guns on the I-net. I really liked the soup but my laptop not so much after I bumped the bowl and dumped about 1/2 a cup into my wireless keyboard.:killingpc I finally have the keyboard cleaned up enough that it kinda works, but my Jack Russell's want to eat it!

I think this thread belongs in the cooking recipe section.

All joking aside, run the keyboard through the dishwasher, top rack only. Air dry. It'll be fine.

Note just the key board not the whole computer.

At the casino we would put circuit boards from the slot machines in the employee cafeteria dishwasher to get the smoke and drink goo off. No soap just hot water. Rinse with distilled and good to go.

Did you know the good manufacturers rinse the CBs in warm DI water before shipping?

Those noodles sure stick between the keys.

Wife texts husband on a cold winter morning: "Windows frozen."

Husband texts back: "Pour some luke warm water over it."

Wife texts back: "Computer completely ***** now."

yeah, just the keyboard in the dishwasher ...

I saw the thread title and was reminded of the Patrick McManus story about Rancid Crabtree being sick, PAt's grandmother making up some Chicken Noodle Soup then having nothing to put it in except a small jug, complete with cork stopper. Well Rancid saw the jug got excited and took a healthy swig before PAt could tell him the real contents. His description of Rancid's reaction when the noodles hit the back of his throat well…. oh never mind, maybe I'm getting old….

Sorry your computer keyboard isn't feeling well
- at least it won't catch a virus now.

I miss the old Patrick McManus stories -
