Will 16ga barrel work on a Stevens 94c 12ga frame?

I have a old Stevens Model 94c that I am rebuilding. It was a 12ga I was told. Will a 16ga 94c barrel work on this frame?

Do you know how to face a shotgun barrel???? These are not really just slap it in jobs most of the time. It can be made to work IF you have the know how.

will a h and r bufflalo classic 45/70 barrel and action fit a h and r 10 gauge frame. i probably havent worded it right but i think every one understands my question. i turned my buffalo clasic into a smi muzzleloader for my son. he loves it but doesent want the 45/70 barrel i have the back end of a 10 gauge h and r at the gunsmith getting a new spring in it. will it fit the buffalo clasic barrel, thanks.

No it won't fit. Your different NEF/H&R frames are Rimfire, Shotgun/Rifle size, and then you have the 10GA frame and the 12GA USH slug gun size...
You will need a Rifle frame for the 45-70 and it'll have to be fitted.

i was surprised when i picked up my H and R 10 gauge action today from the gunsmith and tried the buffalo classic barrel on it. it fit perfect with out any looseness or anything that look other than perfect. fit real tight and closed properly. fired 7 or 8 rounds through the barrel and it functioned fine. again was surprised but very happy about it. dang near gave that 10 gauge reciever away.
