remington 550-1 info assembly

have a rem 550-1 in the shop
when i separated the barrel and action from the stock the safety came off also a plunger pin came loose from inside the action
which i think from the schematic is the trigger plunger

does anyone have any experience or advice about one of these as to how to put back together

I am a member of Rimfire Central and there is a Remington discussion section that has a wealth of information on Remington 22s. I've read discussions before about assembly of the old 550 auto's and I guess they are tricky to put back together. I have one and like shooting it a lot but have never taken it completely apart but just far enough to give it a reasonable cleaning.
