before i got through the scary process of slugging my new M95 short, do i have to slug the whole bore, or is the last 2" good enough? i slugged the first 2" of the bore and got 0.3315" for the grooves and 0.315" for the lands. if i run the slug through the whole barrel, won't it stay at smallest measurements?

i just ran the same slug through the bore and it got easier once it was at the halfway mark, but measured the same as the first 2" of the bore.

From what I hear about Steyr 95 rifles that's about normal for a groove diameter. They run usually about .329-.331 or so. I'd say you'll probably have a decent shooter.

i heard alot of them were really sloppy at .336 and larger, either way i can't wait to shoot it! i have the lee mold and die set on it's way plus some ppu ammo to get brass from.
