Has any one here done any experimenting with cast boolits in this rifle? Just asking.

Bob, I don't have the Browning version but it should be a choice rifle for cast or paper patched cast. My 95 is a 1900 mfg. Winchester in .30-40. I have a 215 gr Accurate mould bullet that I size to .303 and wet patch to .311-312 with a stiff tracing paper. It is a powerful and accurate weapon. Group is 100 yards.

Love those old/new 95's. I have an unknown tang sight on mine, works great. Mine is accurate with jacketed bullets, even shot a 200 yd 3 position match with it.There tough to shoot in the prone position.

I have the Browning 1895 grade II in .30/40 Krag. I have the mold ,just haven't had time to test it yet.
