Looking at an old mold for this boolit. I like the big round blunt nose. Anybody try this in 38 s&w or 38 spl?

Is that the 200 grain round nose? I have that one and like it. It a good dual purpose rifle pistol design.

The Ideal mold tables says 136 gr. but that big ole blunt nose sure looks bigger to me.

Did you buy the one that was on gunbroker? I thought about it, but I usually only collect double cavity molds for pistols.

That's one you don't see every day. I would call that a fairly rare mold. I am sure I have seen one on E-bay at one time or another, but really cannot recall when. I could not picture it when I first read the post, had to get out my reference book! Jay

The nose looks like that of vintage .38 long colt ammo.
