Can you use the same reload information for the 45 ACP in the 45 Auto Rim?

I have for years. Of course I reload for revolvers.

Do watch your sources though. Sometimes 45 AR data is much higher than 45 ACP in some books. I think some of the old Speer manuals were crazy on such loads.

Yes.

Please note: If you plan on using loads in an original S&W 1917, please begin with the bottom load. Use no more then mid-range loads. Remember, this is a revolver that is almost 100 years old. The steel used in its constructionwas the very best for that era. But it's not todays steel by any means. Heck, the steel of today is better then the steel of even 40 years ago.
