Being stuck on a rock in the middle of the ocean, almost everything has to be brought in.
Hard to find anything but common, fast selling stuff.
With the good people here, I thought I'd ask here befor ordeing what I need.

I have a 1990 Nissan RE4F02A auto trans I'm rebuilding.
I need the lower roller bearing race for the high clutch hub. Can send picture.

If anyone works at atrans shop, or has a place near by, i would really appreciate it.

I don't see the part you are trying to find. Can you give me the part number. Here is the drawing (http://oskin.ru/pub/chrysler-dodge/manuals/Automatic_Transmission_Catalogs/NISSAN%20Transaxle/re4f02a_04_w.pdf). I usually get my parts from Rockauto.com

Thanks for the replys. I knew I could count on people here.
I checked with rock auto. They don't have it.
The link for the diagram dosen't show a number for the races. From the picture, it's the round washer in front of #45 in the high clutch set. There are two of them (back one not shown), one in front, and one behind part #72.

I found a diagram for the trans at Transtar. (Thanks Strongbow 67)

Click on Nissan and go to RE4F02A.
The numbers I'm looking for are:
228B......Race, High Drum to hub (metal w/3 inner tabs)...73228....31439-21X00

I hope someone can help.

sounds like you might be looking for a couple of thrust washers which might be in the bearing kit part#k68500s it says n.i. so they are not illustrated and just so you know that illustration is a direct copy out of a transtar catalog if you do not find what you need give them a call they know their tranny parts I have rebuilt hundreds of trannys with their parts

It is a thrust washer. It's the one with three tabs on the inside.
I'm still looking for one.
Contacted Transtar in Kalifornicate. $12 for the part, $50 for the shipping.
Contacted two other places. Still waiting for a reply.
