I've used an RCBS Rockchucker forever. This is the style with the ram's primer slot in the front of the ram.
Occasionally (more often than I cared for) I'd have a spent primer fly out during decapping / resizing, missing the collection tray & winding up in the carpet; a real bother. I tried the soda straw trick, but still had "flyers". This weekend I came up with a pretty slick solution (or so I think) to alleviate this issue.
I cut a piece of K&S 1/4" Square tubing in half (more or less) & tapped it into the ram slot after splaying the "legs"

I cut a piece of 1/4" thick X 3/4" wide aluminum bar about 6" long, and a short piece of 1/4" channel with a slot cut through the base to fit the bar with a sliding fit. The tapered end of the bar faces the ram side of the press, and provides more clearance in the channel where the priming arm would be.

Mounted the 1/4" x 3/4" bar with 10-32 set screws where the primer tube would mount.
The piece of 1/4" channel will sit at the bottom of the 1/4" bar and it directs the spent primers to the channel below into the collection tray:

The 1/4" channel is movable to clear any anvils or cups that dont want to cooperate:
97727
I ran 50 large pistol & 100 small pistol brass through it & had not one primer fly out. All primers landed in the collection tray.
I just wanted to share my solution to a problem I've had for many, many years.
