Anyone have an expierence shooting cast in the p-99 9mm? I just bought a p-99 and want to hear some thoughts...

Can't help you yet, but I just bought a S&W 99 and 5,000 9mm cases. Sometime after the 6th of March, I'll be doing some experimental inquiries. I believe they are substantially identical, differing only in cosmetics. Truthfully, I know of no reason why they shouldn't work. Conventional rifling, looks like it should work just fine. I'll post when I have mine (damnable waiting period).

I have sw99 great gun shoots cast just fine ,like any other 9mm loading pay att. to AOL and pressures .
There is a great sticky n reloading 9s

A friend has one. I've give him some boolits and powder when things were really hard to find. His (his wife's really) ran great with old commercial 120gr tc' so had laying around as well as 100gr from my Ranch Dog .380 mold.

+I think the P99 still has some roots in the P38/P1 pistols. There is a sticky on
setting up for using boolits in a Walther P1. It might be helpful.

Mine shoots cast just fine. 124 grain RN cast with WW.
