1 pound tail off no shell shrimp, 1 pound cut up portobello mushrooms, and 1 diced up bell pepper, dash or garlic powder and dash of cumin. Grill it in one of those grill wok things over high heat so the pieces don't fall into the coals. Serve over saffron rice. Best meal I have had in a long time. Even passed on the ribs... Ok I had 1 or 2....

I would love to grill.... as soon as I can find it under the 8 feet of snow over that spot.

I didn't get much snow, just drifts from the 50mph winds

Yes the drive to work on fri wasn't much fun. Especially after I got to use the grill when it was 40 on Wednesday

Try this one:
Wrap a small piece of bacon around some shrimps and skewer with a toothpick (cut the 'picks off close to the bacon so that they don't burn too easily) and grill until the bacon is done the way you like it and the shrimp will be cooked- then dip the package in your favorite BBQ sauce and enjoy these tasty little tidbits.
I find that a cold beer tops it off!
(I often do this with dove breasts, too.)

I will get to try this about June when some of the snow melts. Looks good but will have to settle for chili right now.

silverado, if you have the time could you post a picture of the utinsil you used to grill that shrimp/mushroom dish in, and where did you get it?
Also how long do you cook it when all mixed together like that ? It sure looks awesome!
Thanks.

I probably do more grilling than anything else, I'm currently on shore duty and making the most of the free time :D

Those baskets work well for veg on the grill, or on the smoker. I have also used them to bake bread on my smoker. Te=he holes really infuse a nice bit of smoke flavor into the bread crust

Im not much on grilled shrimp. I prefer it fried but wrapped in bacon and grilled is surely worth a try. Heck an old sock wrapped in bacon would be good.
