Any experience with these boolits sized to .308 in a 3030?

I use that boolit in several .30 caliber rifles, including three 30/30's, but I size them to .310".

Elbow,
Many folks have good luck with that bullet in a 30-30, but probably not sized to .308". You didn't say what kind of 30-30 you have. Most will prefer a bullet sized at least .309", and usually .310" to .311". I'm sorry I can't direct you to a specific thread, but there there are several here dealing with the same or similar bullets. Search the site and read a few threads on the subject. You'll be able to answer your questions as well as some questions you didn't even know you had. I'm sure others will come along with some tips soon.
Good luck,
Rick

My Lee 170 fp drops around .310. Many years ago before I knew better I shot them sized .308. I tumble lubed, sized and gas checked them through a Lee sizer. I decided to test them against the same boolits run through my .311 sizer. The larger diameter was clearly more accurate. I didn't get leading from the .308 diameter thanks to the gas check. Now, thanks to this site, I have a more clear understanding of why the .310 diameter is better.
