I'd get the boot for sure if I typed that on here.

Had to do with an activity and the National Guard. Back then, with the draft in full force, the Only way to get in the Guard was to have a VERY strong political friend.

Those of us that Signed up, didn't have much use for them.

Today that has all changed and the Guard is as Active a service as we have.

Welcome 2400, pull up a log and set by the fire a bit.
