I need some help.
What would a pair of 1858 New Army Revolvers by Pietta, in .36 and .44, in good condition be worth?
My consciouns (sorry I can't spell it) may be at odds with my pocketbook, meaning that I may be in a position to pick up this pair for 100 dollars.
Please advise.
Obviously Black Powder revolvers are not my forte.
I may be coming back for loading advise.

Two useable frames would be worth a hundred bucks, so if they're in firing condition, you found yourself a deal.
Just browse gunbroker for a couple of minutes and you'll see what different condition 1858s are going for. 8-)

I paid 250 for one with sights ans 3 cylinders. $100.00 for a pair in good condition would not hesitate.

They are worth what you are willing to pay for them. You can go to Cabelas or Bass Pro and pay a fair price or to Gun Broker and pay more.

Yeah, what's up with that?
Probably tied up in customs or something or maybe Pietta can't keep up with the orders?
BP pistols are always on back order at Cabellas if they are on sale , just a fact .

$100.00 is a good deal. Just make sure they are shootable.
