I am new here and probably should not gloat for my first post, but I can't help it $35 for a CH H press. 9752497524 Gun shows you have to love them.

That is a good price for that press. It is very usable and normally sell for two to three times that much. Set it up, use it and enjoy it.

pressman is spot on ( as always - especially on older presses - note his chosen nick ;) ) not my cup of tea but a nice press at a good price ( always adds to the "cool" factor IMHO )

indeed welcome to castboolits , i have to think that with your chosen nick you're no more than a coupla hundred miles away from me ( perhaps a shade less if headed south lolz ) but ..i've been wrong before, just depends upon if the "ks" in your nick stands for what i think it does ( i'm smack dab inna middle )

I still hear complaints about "heavy" cast iron presses on some boards. "You don't want that press, it's too heavy" and "buy one of the lightweight aluminum presses, they're much easier to handle". Well, how many times do you unbolt a press, pick it up and move it?

Great press!

Good find - now keep you eyes open for the 3 station and 4 station version of it.

I have a homemade 2 station version that was made by a machinest about 40 years back, it still is a slick thing to use. Nice find on the single station.Robert

I would gloat if I found that good of a deal. Congratulations on your great find. They don't come often.

I love mine, use it exclusively for priming the 50BMG, it was just to hard keeping the powder in the case at that angle, so it became a prime tool....

Gloating is expressly permitted. Particularly if you put SCORE!! in the subject line. ;)

Great press!

When I bought my hollywood 3 turret press, I had to tote it close to a half a mile to get to the pickup, if I would have had to go another half a mile, I might have given it to somebody driving by. lol Love the old heavy iron.

I have the 4 station version, set up for 7.62 x 39 of all things. It's actually fairly quick to use. If there's any downside at all, it's having to handle the cartridge four times.......but even that becomes routine after awhile. I like them.

Super find and a big welcome. I use two Lyman AA presses from the 50's. Old ain't bad at all.

I'd call it a score. Gotta love the old presses built for many lifetimes unlike today's press.

I'd say these brand new presses are made for many lifetimes. Many choices out there for whatever your looking for.

Congrats on your score !:drinks:

And welcome to the Forum.

FWIW guys, that is not an iron press. It's aluminum.

I believe the 4 x4 Pistol Champ is iron.

The Pistol Champ is the same press, it has just been pre set up at the factory on your choice of caliber and is fully loaded.
