50/50 paraffin and Vasoline a little STP oil treatment. Just wondering if a guy used Vicks instead of Vasoline would it open your stuffy nose when we shoot?

But it could cause phlegm to drip into your action. Yuck

Anyway that was fun. Here they are I used a plastic funnel that fit over the bullet to pop some out. I think that worked letter than just pushing them out. .430 310 gr. I TL lubed to apply the GC first.

Oh wow, you really DID use Vicks!

We're going to have to call that "#161 Mentholated bore creme".

Let us know how they shoot.

The Zombie bullets are looking better all the time. I learned that if you try to put to many in the pan at once, the cake breaks as you push them out.

Went out today with the 310 .430 and my new pan lube. I had several loads to try, 240 TL with a PBGC and 2400. That one didn't pan out, no leading but no accuracy either. The group on the left is my plinking load LEE 240 TL and 6.5 of Red Dot. The one on the right is the 310 with my pan lube. The Hornady GC was still loose after being ran through a lee .430 sizer. The Check measured .433, after a trip through the .429 it measured .430 and was tight. 16.5 grains of 2400 with the bullet seated and crimped in the lowed groove. I tried some in the top groove and they weren't quit at accurate. Measured 25 yards with sand bags across my pick up. Ruger SBH 10.5 in barrel. I know some people can do this @ 50 and 100 yards but I'm not one of them. I'd be happy with these group shot from a carbine.

Thats excellent shooting in the weather we are having here today. I think that Ruger is going to be a sweet shooter for you.
